- Description: The Manjistha Sari is a handwoven mulberry silk saree, beautifully printed with eucalyptus leaves and hand-dyed in madder roots. The intricate hand needle shibori on the pallu makes this saree a unique piece of art. Madder roots are harvested and cooked for 15 hours to extract a beautiful crimson red dye. The saree is then hand-dyed in this medicinal elixir, and eucalyptus leaves are locally foraged and printed on the saree by steaming for 5 hours.
